Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: January 30, 2025
1. General Terms Blomfontein Wedding Venue (“the Venue”) provides its facilities and services subject to the following terms and conditions. By making a booking and paying the deposit, you agree to abide by these terms.
2. Deposits and Payments

A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of 50% of the total amount is required to secure your booking.

The remaining balance is payable one month prior to the event.

Failure to make the final payment within this timeframe will result in automatic cancellation of the booking by the Venue.

In the event of cancellation, the full deposit will be forfeited.
-
If a postponement occurs, the new date must be scheduled within one year of the original date.
3. Refundable Deposits

A Breakage Deposit of R3,000 is required and will be refunded within 14 days after the event, provided no damages or losses occur.

A Deposit for the use of the generator of R5,000 is required and will be refunded within 14 days if the generator is not used.
4. Additional Fees
-
Additional Mock/Layout: R500 per hour.

Corkage Fee: R40 per bottle, payable to the bar.

Breakfast/Brunch: R120 per person, payable at check-in.
-
Accommodation: Available and payable at check-in.
5. Venue Regulations
-
The Venue reserves the right of admission.

The Venue and its staff cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage due to negligence or any other cause.

No smoking is permitted in any building or non-designated smoking areas.

No pets allowed on the premises.

Only biodegradable confetti is permitted.
-
Candles must not be placed directly on tables or linen owned by the Venue.

No refunds will be provided for unused package items or extras.
6. Acknowledgment By paying the deposit, the client confirms acceptance of these terms, including cancellation policies, payment requirements, and the rules and regulations of Blomfontein Wedding Venue.
