Tucked away in the breathtaking Swaershoek Mountains, Blomfontein Venue offers a setting as unforgettable as your celebration. The Blomfontein farm embodies the charm and warmth of authentic Karoo hospitality.
Since opening our doors in 2013, we’ve proudly hosted over 300 weddings, along with numerous agricultural conferences, birthday celebrations, and special events. Every function at Blomfontein is given the care, precision, and attention it deserves. Owners Ben and Renee Schoeman are hands-on, ensuring each celebration is thoughtfully planned and perfectly executed.

Our garden is a breathtaking showcase of over 3,000 lovingly tended rose plants, flourishing under the care of owner Renee Schoeman and her dedicated team. The gardens are in peak bloom during October and November, making these months a favourite for weddings.
Blomfontein Venue offers more than just stunning gardens. The surrounding landscape is alive with wildlife, including kudu, lechwe, nyala, and gemsbok, adding a touch of enchantment to your stay. It’s not uncommon for brides to wake up to the magical sight of nyala grazing just outside the honeymoon suite.
Perched at an altitude of 1,125 meters above sea level, Blomfontein is accessible via a scenic gravel road and provides a perfect training ground for mountain bikers and trail runners.
We also offer on-site accommodation for up to 120 guests, with additional options available on neighboring farms, such as The Grey Ghost Guesthouse at Waterkloof Farm.
